Exclusive Fashions for Spring Featured in First-Time Show
Jacksonville, FL (February 1, 2011)—The glamour, attitude and hype of the fashion world comes to Jacksonville April 7th when Neiman Marcus Orlando stages Runway to Dignity 2011 to benefit Dignity U Wear. The event by the upscale retailer will feature spring fashions by some of today’s most notable designers, including Escada, Dolce Gabbana, and Roberto Cavalli, among others.
Runway to Dignity will create a high fashion environment under the stars with a clear tent overlooking the St. Johns River, directly in front of The Florida Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. Event co-chairs, Nan Coyle, Sallyn Pajcic and Jeanne Ward, promise a special evening, with both a pre-show and post-show reception, flowing champagne, great music and extraordinary fashions.
"Dignity U Wear is such a unique organization," said co-chair and Dignity U Wear Board member, Jeanne Ward. "It’s the only agency that provides brand new clothing to people in need throughout the country, thanks to its relationships with apparel manufacturers and distributors. We wanted to create an event that’s as singular as Dignity is. Working with Neiman Marcus, we’ve assembled all of the right elements to deliver a distinctive evening that matches their demanding standards for excellence. In that way, Dignity and Neiman Marcus have a lot in common and patrons of Runway to Dignity are in for an experience they’ll never forget."
Neiman Marcus Orlando is delighted to bring the best of Spring 2011 fashion to Jacksonville, where the luxury department store enjoys a sizeable clientele. "We greatly appreciate our many Jacksonville customers." said Gabriele Gannaway, Vice President and General Manager of Neiman Marcus Orlando. "And we are thrilled to show those who may not be familiar with Neiman Marcus, what our store is all about. We offer fabulous fashion and personalized customer service."
A limited number of individual tickets are available for $500. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
