Jacksonville Area Soldiers to Receive New Suits as Part of Suits for Soldiers Initiative

Haven Hospice and Dignity U Wear to present service members with fitted suits for new chapter in Civilian Workforce

What:

Jacksonville-area veterans who were fitted last month as part of Haven Hospice and Dignity U Wear’s second Suits for Soldiers initiative will be presented with their new suits as
part of a special ceremony at Wounded Warrior Project/TRACK headquarters.

The servicemen and woman receiving the suits have been participating in the Wounded Warrior Project TRACK program as they prepare to enter the civilian workforce after honorably serving our country.

The 12-month Wounded Warrior Project focuses on the healing of the mind, body and spirit, giving wounded warriors the opportunity to meet educational needs and training while at the same time receiving rehabilitative care for injuries sustained overseas.

Why:

Haven Hospice and Dignity U Wear developed Suits for Soldiers as a way to give back to those who have given so much for our country. The two organizations are dedicated to supporting and helping veterans successfully prepare for the future.
