At Dignity U Wear, we don’t just appreciate our volunteers—we couldn’t run our organization without them! Ninety-five percent of the work we do with the new clothing we receive is handled by our volunteers.

The volunteer experience at the warehouse is rewarding because you can clearly see the good you are doing and it is easy to enjoy interacting with fellow volunteers while you work.  From Tuesday through Saturday we host up to 20 volunteers to count, sort and fold the clothing donations.  We welcome individuals and groups. To get the most from your volunteer experience we recommend shifts Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon; 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; or all day; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays but are happy to work with you to determine the best fit for your group. Volunteers 14-15 years of age must be accompanied by a chaperone. Regretfully, we cannot have volunteers under the age of 14.

The reality is that we couldn’t exist without our volunteers’ good work and generous support and we will be forever grateful for their assistance. Individuals and groups of all types and ages are welcome to join us to volunteer. Please click here to sign up.  Or simply call us at 904-636-9455!

Support Us Financially

It is donations from individuals and businesses that keeps our mission going.  Please consider a gift to Dignity U Wear.

Host a Fundraising Event

Hosting your own fundraiser is a fun way to raise money for a great cause.  Whether you host a house party, car wash, bake sale, or come up with some super creative idea—your fundraiser can raise money that will ensure that people in real need get new clothes.  You can even fundraise to support one of our specific initiatives that has special meaning for you.
