Dignity U Wear and the Jacksonville Giants Team Up to Promote Youth Volunteerism
Jacksonville, FL (December 21, 2010) During winter break, high school and college students are invited to volunteer at Dignity U Wear along with players from the Jacksonville Giants.
Youth Week will be held from December 27 th -December 30th and will include food, music, prizes and fun. There will be both a morning and afternoon shift and a lunch break that will give students from different schools and opportunity to socialize.
"This is a great way for students to earn the community service hours they need to graduate and is a meaningful way to spend time during winter break," said Bob Bryan, Executive Director of Dignity U Wear. "We are pleased to be partnering with the Jacksonville Giants to promote the importance of giving back to youth in our local community."
Students will be working in the Dignity U Wear warehouse, sorting and processing brand new clothes that will ultimately be distributed to people in need all over the United States. Students interested in Youth Week should contact 904-636-9455 to RSVP.
