Seth Bernstein

Seth Bernstein is a community activist, and formerly the CEO of Empower Software Solutions. He started his career at ADP where he was a top sales producer and was awarded the Crystal Award for two consecutive years. He went on to pioneer Zurich Payroll Solutions in 1997, which grew to $68 million in revenue before being sold to ADP & Advantage Payroll. In 2003, Mr. Bernstein purchased Stromberg where he led the company to a 1,700% growth to become the second largest time and attendance company in the country. He sold the business in 2004 to Paychex Corporation and continued as the President until August 2006. He went on to purchase multiple Human Resource based companies starting in 2006, creating Empower Software Solutions. Since 2006, Empower has had greater than 40% organic growth each year and it is quickly becoming one of the top Human Resource and Payroll Software companies in the United States.

Seth Bernstein serves as an outside Director of Forstmann and Company, University of Central Florida’s Board and Athletic Board, Florida and the American Spectator’s board. Seth Bernstein is a member of the New York Times “Top 40 under 40,” Central Florida’s “40 most influential men,” Republican Governor’s Association and Florida’s gang reduction task force. Seth Bernstein is a native of New York.

Seth Bernstein believes in taking every opportunity to give back to the community and is involved with many charitable organizations throughout the community and the Nation. He is a Board member for the Kids House of Seminole County where he focuses on raising funds to help physically and sexually abused children in the Orlando Florida area, the Chairman of the Compound Foundation which was founded by R&B artist NeYo and was the 2010 Preston Robert Tisch Humanitarian Award Honoree for the Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation. Seth Bernstein, along with the help of many NBA players, organizes events each Holiday season to give back by donating thousands of hams and turkeys to families in need, Military families and local community centers. He has been a contributor to several charitable organizations such as The Center for Drug Free Living, The Neil Rodin Prostate Cancer Research Foundation, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundations of America, and many others. Seth Bernstein is also passionate about helping to better the education system in America. Along with many of his closest friends, he raises funds and assists in Lobby to our government leaders to start making a change.

Seth Bernstein is the Husband of Marie Bernstein, who was a professional tennis player on the tour from 1988-1994 where she was ranked # 1 in Sweden. They have 4 young girls, Regan, Madeline, Londyn and Bianca.
